Cloud Infrastructure and Operations
Purpose
Design and operate workloads while balancing security, reliability, performance, cost and operational capability.
Platforms
Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure may be considered according to the demonstrated experience and approved scope of each project.
Possible scope
- assessment of workloads, dependencies and constraints
- identity, network, compute, data and observability architecture
- migration and modernization
- infrastructure as code and automation
- environment separation
- logging, metrics, alerts and incident management
- security, updates and secrets management
- capacity and cost optimization
- backup, recovery and continuity testing
Technical reference
Reviews may use the official Well-Architected frameworks of the selected provider. Using these frameworks does not imply a partnership, certification or commercial endorsement by that provider.
Deliverables
Depending on scope: inventory, current and target architecture, decisions, risks, estimates, migration plan, automation, operational controls and recovery plan.
Exclusions
Cloud consumption, licenses, vendor support, connectivity, third-party migrations and ongoing assistance are priced separately. No architecture can eliminate every interruption risk.
